Shrink Wrapped: A Psychologist Analyses Comedians, Live on Stage
“Some say laughter is the best therapy. Shrink Wrapped gives us both. Don’t miss it.” -Mix 102.3
Ever seen a stand-up comedian perform and thought they could use some therapy? Ever been deep in a therapy session and thought: I want to know what they’re REALLY thinking?
Shrink Wrapped does just that, with its hilarious, one-of-a-kind blend of psychology, stand-up comedy, and things we should probably unpack in private.
Fresh from an extended, sell-out run at Adelaide Fringe 2025, Shrink Wrapped features a rotating cast of 8 brilliant comedians and 3 expert psychologists, hosted by multi-award winning comedian Robyn Perkins. Each show features guest comedians delivering their funniest—and most personal—material, before submitting to some gentle psychological probing live on stage. This isn’t about trauma dumping—it’s about insight, education, and a lot of laughs, with strict boundaries, caveats, and yes, safe words. This unique show is raw, unleashed and hilarious: our psychologists don’t have a filter and our comedians are getting truly personal. It’s a true peek behind the curtain...on both sides.
Praise for Shrink Wrapped
